Even the smallest...

Within the vastness grief imposes,
allowing compassion/gratitude for what we get,
disposes the weight of carrying it as a burden,
bringing the light back in,
allowing once again to be guided by love,
even if it has felt lost,
it was within grief,
we become found again.
Sending everyone much love and light,
because we all weather many storms,
and within these storms though we feel dimmed,
though we feel lost at times,
we are never alone,
each of us shine bright,
like a candle rekindling another,
like a star hung in the velvet blue above,
when the darkness comes,
even the smallest light,
can be seen, can be heard, can moves us, can be touched,
can be loved, can be there or here,
a blink or heartbeat away.
Blessings can be found everywhere…
As I close this day, and as I begin my day,
with wholehearted gratitude,
giving myself compassion no matter where I am in the moment,
as time marches on....
