Yes I am...

Changed I am,
Through experiences I sought for,
Through experiences I didn’t ever want to come to know,
Through experiences I came and went to and from,
Through experiences I fought for,
I am changed because of…
Every thought I had,
Every action I did,
Every word I spoke,
Every conversation I heard,
Every appetite I tasted,
Every bouquet I smelled,
Every perception I saw,
Inside of me,
Outside of me.
I absorbed,
I enmeshed,
I observed,
I cultivated,
I acquired,
I chose,
I directed myself into or out of,
And through myself, through another,
Schooled me,
Changed me.
I am a ever evolving result of all my befores,
Meanwhile still changing who I am,
Because as we live so do we change,
Because time offers us these blessings.
And making the most of our time here,
Teaches us this, 
Through every choice, every decision,
Every which way we pave,
Through our senses, coming to our senses,
Becoming aware, growing, allowing, disconnecting,
Purging, speaking, feeling, smelling, tasting, hearing, seeing, doing,
Changes us, 
Changed me,
Changed I am, and to be honest even though the discomforts are never fun, and the comforts we get to have, 
Encourage us into taking new adventures offshore, 
Have lists of many pros and cons,
I am grateful to not be who I used to be,
I am grateful for every experience good, bad, ugly and painful,
For who I am now, will change again, 
Like I did in the past, so will this change presently and in the future,
So I will savor everything, with gratitude for what it is, and what it does for me, with me forward, changed I am, almost always in awe
No matter where the balance lays…
Changed I am and will be.

Knowing everything changes,
And that is the only certainty I can rely on,
Even when I am bewildered to what could be coming,
