For now, leading into 2020

This New Year,
These new days and moments
Upon us,
I want to stay in continuous awe.
I want to remain abundantly open.
Open to persist,
Open to learn,
Open to strange,
Open to uncertainty,
Open to give, share, receive,
Open and opening fearlessly,
Open to live more boldly,
Open to love more loudly,
Open to forgive more sincerely,
Open to appreciate more diversity,
Open to utilize my own expansions
Of heart, creativity, gratitude, light.
Open to be more curious of darkness,
To allow it to be felt as it releases,
Open to letting go of what no longer
Serves me.
Open to being more unconditional
With myself and others,
In Honoring our truths,
In honoring our own definitions,
Respect, Honesty, wholeness…
Open to always emerging with healthy
Boundaries intact, but more so open,
To realizing, I don’t know everything,
And there’s a lot to experience in this world,
That is beautifully expressed in teaching
And student forms of outlets,
For us to continuously, keep growing,
I will remain open…
Though hesitance will come,
Though resistance will come,
Though, adversity will come,
I will as I want to become,
More honestly, purely, open,
To have better balance in and at any given moment,
So every moment I live, love, laugh, and learn.
